Biography

A wannabe farmer who became the next best thing, an agronomist.

Always having an interest in science and agriculture, agronomy is the perfect fusion. This began for me with ADAS where I acquired all the necessary qualifications in BASIS, FACTS, BETA and ICM. Spells with Morley and Tag followed before we founded Prime Agriculture in 2006.

I specialise in combinable crop and sugar beet production covering a wide range of soil types and farming systems. I also have a growing number of clients practicing regenerative strategies making good progress with reducing input costs with more holistic management.

I thrive upon adapting to change and new pressures facing agriculture. I assist in a number of farmer trials looking at nitrogen rates, cultivation techniques and cover crops to ensure we are always at the cutting edge.
