Biography
I have always had a passion for all aspects of farming and the countryside, and my role as an agronomist ticks all the boxes.
I studied at Harper Adams College where I attained a First-Class Honours degree in Agriculture, specialising in plant physiology, crop improvement techniques and crop production systems. Following college, I trained with ADAS attaining the BASIS, FACT, BETA and BASIS ICM qualifications. At ADAS I was promoted to Senior Consultant specialising in soil management and agronomy. Further experience was gained through employment with Morley and then TAG. For the past 17 years I have been a Partner in Prime Agriculture working as an arable farm advisor in Cambridgeshire managing both organic and mineral soil types. My expertise is in the agronomy of all combinable crops, sugar beet and potatoes, as well as keeping a keen interest in soil science, soil management and wildlife.
