Biography
It’s a fantastic day job and a real privilege to work as a Prime Agronomist in Norfolk.
I have over thirty years of independent agronomy experience here in Norfolk (they always said once here you’ll never leave!). Initially with ADAS through to now as a Partner in Prime Agriculture which we founded in 2006.
I have and maintain the relevant BASIS FACTS ICM and BETA qualifications required for the job.
I am also a Nuffield Scholar, RNAA Member and sit on the Sugar Beet RL Advisory Committee.
I work where cropping and soil types are diverse and as such advise on a wide range, including all popular combinable crops, sugar beet, potatoes, maize, and vining peas.
My challenge is always to help customers maximise their arable profitability through correct rotation, good soil management, choice of cropping and appropriate levels of input. Same as it was over thirty years ago!
