Biography

Being an Independent agronomist enables me to work closely with my clients with no outside pressures. It allows me to be part of the whole farm management team where I can influence decisions throughout the farm and right through the production cycle.

I have always been on and around farms growing up and so a career in agronomy was a natural fit. This started through studying agriculture at Bangor University. Years with ADAS, West Essex Farmers Agronomy and Morley followed before founding Prime Agriculture with the rest of the team in 2006.

I keep up to date with all the latest research and have all the necessary BASIS, FACTS, BETA, and ICM qualifications.

I have a particular interest in working with speciality crops such as borage, corn gromwell, and echium which provides some novel and unique challenges. I also enjoy and put a lot of attention in to forward planning, soil management and cultivations to ensure the crop is set up in the best possible way. Well sown half grown as they say!
